The forest is rarely deeply understood, it takes years of knowledge to get into the thick of the woods and truly understand it completely. But this is what two people from the land of Dracula, Transylvania are doing right now and have been doing for the past ten years.

The journey started in Gherla, Transylvania, when Dan, an engineer, discovered the beauty of the living art of the forest, bonsai. He teamed up with his best friend, Ovidiu and, together, over the past ten years, have been wandering the Transylvanian hills and mountains for the most inspiring yamadori that could be found.

The work we do here, at Bonsai-Transylvania is out of pure passion, our only purpose is to extract our love for bonsai and offer it to the world in the purest yamadori form!
